jpot Library

What is jpot?

jpot is a java library that can deal with the database and other files iTunes creates on Apple's iPod. Additionally, it is planned to implement some basic operations on the database.

jpot is well-designed; it aims at giving you the best possible performance.

What is it good for?

Download

The initial release was made 8 March 2005. The current release was made 25 July 2005. The size of the tar.gz file is 122kB.

Go to download page.

In the current release, there is a command line interface. Wow! With java 1.4 (other versions will probably do as well) installed, type

java -jar jpot.jar

at the prompt of your favorite command line interpreter. A help page will be displayed explaining the options.

By reporting bugs or asking for new features you'll make me very happy.
