Workshop: Order and Geometry August 12 - August 15, 2013, Berlin

Aims and Scope

In the spirit of the 2012 workshop in Krakow we plan a gathering of 20 to 30 people working in combinatorics with a special emphasis on those interested in order theory and all kinds of connections between order theory and geometry.

The workshop will be problem oriented. We collect some problems and then attack some of them in small groups in an informal setting. This should allow both established and young researchers to contribute to a productive exchange of ideas.

The workshop is scheduled right after the Summerschool: Order and Geometry in Döllnsee, August 07 - 10, 2013. Participants of the sommerschool are encouraged to stay in Berlin for the workshop.

The workshop takes place in the math-building of TU. Institute of Mathematics Technical University Berlin Strasse des 17.Juni 136 Berlin, Germany

Program and Registration

The workshop will start on Monday morning and end on Thursday afternoon. Between problem presentations and status reports there will be plenty of time for solving open problems. For Wednesday night we plan a joint dinner. To cover the dinner and expenses for coffee and snacks we will ask participants for a fee of 40€.
