Geometry in Soft Matter Physics
I am an Emmy Noether Research Group Leader at the Institute for Mathematics, Technische Universität Berlin. My research is in the field of geometry and topology in soft matter physics. My background is in Geometry, including 2D hyperbolic geometry and 3D networks, knots and tangles. I am interested in how mesoscale geometry and entanglement of 3D objects influences macroscale properties, particularly in biological materials. I hope that you find some useful information here about the research that I am doing at the TU Berlin. Please feel free to contact me (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you have any questions, or if you are interested in starting a research project with me here in Berlin.
